Parra & Romero located behind the ITV in Santa Gertrudis offers, for the first time since its opening, an exhibition that will occupy the entirety of its space throughout this summer 2018. It is a sample of the artist Stefan Brüggemann (Mexico City, 1975), which presents here a series of works made over the past year in which several of the central themes of his artistic career are reflected. His most recent series and the one that gives title to the exhibition is “Hi-Speed Contrast”, ten imposing impressions on di bond in which the artist deforms an image until it becomes illegible. In addition, the artist Luis Camnitzer (Lübeck, 1937) has devised an interesting artistic project in which it exceeds the walls of the gallery and integrates with the landscape of the island, dialoguing with its history through literature. A intervention that part of a fragment of “On Astrology”, by Walter Benjamin, written during the writer’s stay in Ibiza. Both can be enjoyed this summer from the Friday 1 from June to the end of September of 2018 and have the collaboration of OD Hotels. |
